PROBLEMS WITH i830...PLEASE HELP!!!

Recently I've been experiencing problems with my i830. The best way for me to describe it is that it seems that the phone isn't connecting to the network. (Ex: the little globe doesnt come up and it says "Ready" on the screen instead of NEXTEL. When this first started the other day, as soon as it would connect to the network, the phone would shut off then turn back on. It would say "Ready" but not connect to the network but then as soon as it would, it shuts off.

I hope someone on here can shed some light on the subject for me.

Sounds like either an outage in your area or an equipment issue. If it's an equipment issue, a master reset should help, if it isn't, a master reset could mess up your phone even further until it get's fixed. I'd suggest calling customer care on a landline with your cell phone in hand to get some assistance with that.
