Problems with honda civic auxiliary stereo mode?

I drive a 2006 honda civic, and you are right that there is no aux. I don't think they have an aux. Whereas my previous civic model (the 2000 model) had aux.

I have a 2007 Honda civic when I cycle through modes on my stereo i am unable to get auxiliary to come up which is what I use for my ipod. Before it completely went unavailable its access would go in and out I thought it was the connecting cord but I tried another more expensive fancy cord and it still didn't work.
