Hey

For the past year now I have been dealing with signs of random pains in my stomach and chest , feeling like loaRAB of gas being built up. I can never seem to get rid of it and when I do its for a very short amount of time..then it comes back :( It sometimes occures with fooRAB I eat, or drinks. ( such as pop or dairy) I keep thinking its allergies...but I have no idea >< Sometimes this gas problem of mine gets very serious...at points i feel like i cannot breathe or burp. It scares me ..:( Mainly cause to begin with my breathing isnt that great due to asthma.. I need help on this, I dont know what todo. I've tried Gasx and other things..but nothing works. If anyone has some advice that would be helpful :)

-thanks ~*

I would try some Lactaid, or even better would be to avoid all dairy for a week or two and see how things feel. If the pains and gas go away, then you can be pretty sure it was related to the dairy. It's worth a try.

I deal with a similar thing. When i belch, my breathing and/or pain is relieved, but only for a short amount of time until the gas builRAB back up. I dont have it 24/7 but i usually have episodes daily. What is with all this gas, something has to be creating it. One possible explanation i have read about from Dr Sherry Rogers heartburn book is yeast overgrowth. I am working on trying to kill off excess yeast, which basically means eliminate carbs and sugars and take supplements known to aid in killing yeast. But i have felt gas build up that does not cause breathing issues. This makes me suspect a small hiatal hernia. I guess the gas could push the hernia to a place which could crowd my breathing. I have had one GI who scoped me and stated i have a small hiatal hernia and another who did not see it. The one that saw it the first time didnt see it another time, so it must be small and illusive. One last thought my second GI said was acid effecting your vegas nerve can cause breathing issues. I do know i have gastritis.

Aerobic exercise has helped me get the gas out. I also find that stretching in a particular position, standing up with my arms above my head, shifting my torso just right seems to allow the air a better means to escape when it feels trapped.

i used to use gas x, worked wonders for me. You just need to lock yourself up in a room and burp it all out. I would curl up and burp it out. It used to hurt soooo bad, i'd get anxiety from it too.
