Problems with flashed verizon v3c to cricket

i tried the *22899 but it didn't work said "we're sorry, we cannot program your phone at this time" blah blah blah.

i did a browser reset but still nothin.

and i've noticed that when i try to send stuff through email to [email protected] i got a reply email saying the nuraber does not exist. the mynuraber being my phone nuraber obviously, but i think they dont have my nuraber in the database! so that might be it.

i'm gonna have to call them when i get a chance. keep tryin stuff and thank you! :-)

hello guy i gess i drop a few line what i think because you guy seem very interesting in why work and why not. For Skyy..... If you got the monster from here please do not mention who you got it from please just saying you found it on the net. I gess the one that gave it to you don't want you to say his or her name cause then everyone will chase him or her to ask for the file. If he or she feel like it they will post it out in the open for everyone. You know what i'm talking about. Because i got one too. For Blackcat because you work for "The company" they will tell you only what you need to know. If you want to know more you going to have to spend alot of time here. Because what you learn here is open source. They don't want you to know these stuff at where you work. Reason why is that they all tide up which "Policy" which such. Because Policy can't not let you express yourself with an open mind. They allways keep you in-side the box.

For the fact that why the picture messagesing, web, and click not working is because of the ESN. If you flash a phone from verizon to cricket even though when you turn it on with a green K flying around it a fully cricket fimware not customer upgrade it still not work because of your foriegn ESN. That ESN never exit on Cricket system that why click and web or picmessaging wont work. There are a meraber of this forum claim to have a pink verizon flashed to cricket and with all the pic web click work. Well technicaly he did not specificly tell you how he did it. In that case you can not trust 100% that after you flash web will work. He might have the ESN repaired that why it work. Or if you look at the picture the he post. When he in cricket click only the top of the phone appear you don't know that it would be the same pink phone that he flashed or not.

Myself i have a pink verizon fully flashed to cricket with a monster file that i got from someone on "internet" and again Thank you so much for the file i know you reading this too every configuration is exactly like a branded cricket v3c but still not work. Thank for this file that how i know the ESN is the issue about the web and other are not work. If you agree to use a phone other than cricket hanRABet you have to lose the web click and picture messaging. There ya go that all i know, you all more than welcome to edit anything that i haven't got in here or missing. Thank you for everything. Don't "Every man for himself" that all i ask. Work together and we wil huh huh find more "sweet rock" .

lol so after all this hastle and stuff i just called cricket and said my picture messaging wasn't working.

and they updated the settings (they identified the problem) and told me to dial *228

sure enough after it activated i could get into cricket clicks, and i could get on mobile web and go to like google.com and stuff.

but that was it, i couldn't go to any other websites.. id get Forbiddon (403) or something like that.

i wanna get to places where i can download ringtones or check email!! helppp lol thanks guys

Web and MMS are not a lost cause however. If somebody with a fully working Cricket branded V3c can PM me a zip with a backups of these files (Can be gotten with PST 7.2.5):

-MMS Data file
-BREW file
-Feature File
-Mobile IP
-RTT Data
-RTT Brower file

Along with a Service Programming backup of their phone in QPST, a copy of cdma_sec from /nvm/seem/, and these seems:

I'll take a look at them and do my best to get data working for you all. That's essentially the whole package when it comes to seems, files, and SP backups that relate to data services. I can easily troubleshoot a VZW phone because I know what to look for, but the problem (Why I can't help any of you) is that I don't know what a working Cricket phone's settings look like.

I think somebody said this is a limitation Cricket places server-side.

It's not available now.

i flashed my verizon V3c with the monsterfile on this site http://humpa.com/vzw/ with no problems at all... fully functional and mms and web browsing work perfect even cricket clicks... activating was tough though... had to #0setup* enter my phone nuraber and then dial *228 to get it to work enjoy

i flashed a verizon v3c to cricket with the monster file and EVERYTHING is cricket.

cricket clicks, cricket startup animation, moto logo when you turn on phone(yes, no more verizon logo) i can receive and send text. the only thing i havent done is set up up the web.

i dont know WHAT everybody is doing to be having all these problems i read about. in fact, i just did another for a friend, and it also worked flawlessy.

dont know what to say. :D

Works like a charm much better than the customer upgrade from a while back . I just flashed a verizon phone I picked up today as a replacement for my alltel flashed to cricket razor and now you would never know the verizon wasn't an orginal cricket phone.

Just a few things to note:

It does not matter where the phone came from. Cricket does not care if the ESN is from verizon or whom ever. If you can make calls, then you are connected to the network. END OF STORY.

Second, when everyone is saying that MMS and WAP are working just fine with the monster flash, they are probably talking about the cricket monster flash. Yes, you can use a foreign phone and the Cricket Monster flash on your v3m and EVERYTHING will work, except for your transflash card. MMS and WAP will work once you get the configuration in PST correct which you can find on the main cricket forum.

The original poster reported having problems with the Alltel firmware on the V3M and not getting WAP and MMS. I have loaded my V3M with the NCR_01.1A.00R firmware and now my phone will not access MMS or WAP. I have spent several hours digging through seems and PST configs trying to find the problem with no success. Forget about the possibility of a "foreign ESN" causing these issues because you can load the cricket monster file and get online just fine. I will continue to mess around with the alltel firmware and try and get MMS and WAP. If anyone has any details on a Verizon V3M running NCR_01.1A.00R on the Cricket network that is able to access WAP and MMS, please post details.

Have a great day
Tommy
