I am on enalapril and I've gained a lot of weight since I've been on it.

and I don't know what to do. When I spoke to the doctor they said enalapril isn't supposed to cause weight gain but I've read articles saying that it does.
I try to avoid doctors because of all the terrible things they've done to me in the past.
Can I just quit this pill or what should I do?
My doctor quit and moved to Ohio so I'd have to find a new doctor if I get seen.
what should I do? I'm currently staying on the pill even thoguh I think it is harming me.
