problems with amp and pedals still!!!!!!?

I am still having problems with my amp and pedals. I have a Backstage Peavy Amp- 80 Watts. And im using my dunlop cry baby wah wah pedal. The pedal works great with a regular 9 Volt Battery, but I want to have it plugged in adapter. I have tried about 10 different regular 9 Volt adapters, and each time, my amp makes a humming noise when i step on the pedal to get the effect.
