I will start by saying that i know nothing about cars. i will try to give the best information. If you are able to Help I will give you a thumbs up or maybe pick you as the favorite answer. Thanks.
My cars problem seems to be with the transmission or clutch. It is a 5 speed with about 50,000 miles in 3 years. Every time that I shift gears I can hear what sound like something hitting the wheel well of the passenger side front tire area. When the car is in second gear and a let off the gas and then push on the gas at low rpm I can hear what sounds like metal hitting each other (this noice also coming from the front passenger wheel well). Some times while letting off the gas when I come up to a stop sign it sounds like dirt is flinging up on the bottom of the car but there is nothing under there that i know of.
The car shift into all the gears just fine and once it is in gears there is no problems. The only other thing it does is sometimes when I shift from first to second the car makes a whistle noise that sounds like it is coming from the engine.
Any ideas???
