Recently my van has a shimmy in the front end. This starts as soon as the van starts moving the steering wheel shakes back and forth. All steeering components are good, no broken belts in the tires no bent wheels. Tires have been rotated. Also have noticed that when driving when i leave of the accelerator, seems to vibrate worse. There is 192,000 miles on my van. Tranny was replaced about 6 years ago. I was told by a Chrysler mechanic that it could be that the motor mounts are worn out due to high mileage and that this could be the problem. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
