I don't know what to do about this 93 Buick Century custom... it's got about 130,000 miles on it or so; and was in completely top notch working condition... then about a few months back it randomly stalled out in the road; which was nothing but a loose battery cable and once tightened it was fine again. Then, a couple weeks ago; it stalled out at a gas station in VA and we had to call AAA; the check engine light only appears when its about to stall out though. First the AAA guy said it was the battery again but then later he said the battery was fine; and it was just a small oil leak and driveable until it could get fixed. He basically floored the gas pedal and the car got us home fine and was running normally the whole way. We made sure that the car had plenty of oil; and I think it was used for an errand or two after that.

OK I know this part is dumb - after this; my partner drove the car from WV to MD and when he got it here; it had began to make horrible loud grinding noises; though it still was running. Although I am not sure why he drove it at all; he managed to somehow get it back again later to WV round trip; and it's been sitting in the driveway since then.

Someone looked at it; and we refilled the oil also; the oil seems to be leaking now out of the bottom of the car; and of course the car makes the grinding noise; it still starts up though; but it stalls quickly... and the person suggested that it was probably a rod through the engine block whatever that is; and said it was basically just better to give up because I needed a whole new engine? - but I can't help but wonder if it could be something completely different and completely repairable that only someone who knows the 1993 Buick Century might be able to diagnose... This is the 3.3 V6 Custom model.

I'm too scared to try to drive it to a repair place at this point to get it evaluated even...
