Problems putting ringtones onto my phone from computer.?

Hi. i went on myxer.com an downloaded ringtones to my computer. then i plugged my phone into the computer. i put the ringtones onto my phone but i couldnt set them as my ringtones because they were WMA format. So, i downloaded format factory and formatted them to MP3 format. after i did that tried to put them on my phone, and it still didnt work. What should i do now ?
Please help.

PS: i have a Sharp FX if that helps.
