"Problems in your market"

For 24 hours now, I have not been able to send text messages. According to T-Mobile's recording, there is a problem in my market. However, my parents can send and so can my cousin, who also has a Pearl. Is anyone else having problems or knows what's going on?

New Mexico good except for 30 minute hold times trying to get through to customer service. I was told they had to outsource some of their calls because the volume is so heavy...
 
I have been getting spam text messages, it comes from a Live account. I called 611 and talked to a friendly guy who told me to log into myt-mobile and click on communication and block all tmomail.
 
I had a similar issue a few days ago with web browsing and connecting to IM clients. Use of the SoftReset app if you have it on your BB, which is what I used (or a battery pull), solved my issue.
