Regarding the idea of levels of learning. What I mean is how schools typically will have a lower learning, mainstream, and higher learning (honors) classes,
One problem about this argument is that a student may get an A in one level and be told he/she should move up but when the student does, he/she only gets maybe (but not always) a C in the higher level of the class.
This ends up hurting the student now.
So I think there is too much of jump between the levels and this can cause problems for students because they are either not challenged enough or too challenged
What other problems can you think are faced regarding the idea?
