Last night I was driving in the rain and I took a left turn going to fast and when i turned the wheel to go left the car just went straight and I hit a curb after which the steering is all messed up and everytime I turn the wheel to the left it makes a screeching sound like the tire is rubbing up against something the steering feels loose if that makes any sense i turn to go one way and it wants to go the other way I have Honda civic 2007 Im taking it to the mechanic tomorrow but am wondering what it could possibly be and how much its gonna cost and if my best route would just be going through the insurance any help is appreciated thank you
