I transfered some MP3's on my SL45 via IrDA, but when I press play button message appeared ˝File not readable!˝. All files are 128 kbps stereo, LAME encoded. Some of the files works with no problem, but lot of them are not. Why? What is the problem? Please help! It is annoying...

Maybe some error occur when you transfered files to phone. You should send them again.

Everything works fine via cable connection, using SyncStation, but via IrDA some files are not working... Looks like I will have to buy Card Reader... Transfer over IrDA or a cable is too slow...

Yes, I think you should get a Card Reader, because transfering file via cable or IrDA too too slow.

USB IrDA ftp...
I think it's a freeware.
If you are using WinXP, I don't think you'll need it.WinXP recognizes SL45 automatically over IrDA. I don't know the link, I allready had this program in WIndows XP when I bought my PC.

Win ME and Win XP automatically recognize phone when you active PC and phone IrDA and put their ports face to face. You don't need any software.

I use the siemens Data Exchange Software for SL55. It has an IrDa installation option and I can see the whole 6688i's MMC with that, but copying to MMC sometimes goes bad.

Copying large files (like MP3's) via IrDA on my phone almost always gone wrong... copying smaller files like midi, bmp, lng or ldb is OK...
