problem with java and flash games!!!!!!!?

fecently my comp stopped playing java and flash games it will amke the screens go white everytime and i can play them. i have a very good leptop with a graphic card made to play much much better than flash or java games i have installed the latest software for java and flash but the problem seems to keep occuring. i dont know how to fix this white screen problem please help and ty>>>>>and the graphic card is a nivida i believe 8500
 
You could try to get the latest java and shockwave updates. YOu can also try to see if the stuff you downloaded for the java is being used whenever you open your internet. I do not know how to do this but maybe you could ask around
