Problem with installing photoshop elements 3?

it came with my tablet that I got almost 2 years ago, and I got a new computer so I wanted to install photoshop onto it. I'd never used the disc before, but it's asking for a serial number. It wasn't on the disc, or in the components of it, so I have no idea what to do! I don't believe I have the box either, which I doubt would help, but I want to install it but apparently I need the number, which I don't have. is there another way?
 
It should be on the disc. If it's not there, you could probably contact Adobe for another serial number. Their address is in my sources section.
