The problem started just a few days ago. When you hit the open liftgate button on the key fob or inside the car on the upper panel the beeper will beep twice and the gate will lift a very short way and then come right back down in another two beeps. the gate will close with the key fob just fine. I tried opening it again when the gate was about half way down with the key fob and it did lift again but it was really jerky and you could hear the pump sound when it was trying. I know that the gate is run on gears. . . but I don't know what wrong with it. It's a 2006 Dodge Durango limited with th 5.7L V8 4x4
