Problem with 2010 Ultra Classic

This is what I was trying to say Mick.I think it may have something to do with the bigger rear tire too.I had an 06 standard as well, and never had this sensation.

I had a similar sensation when I picked up a nail in the rear tire and it was almost flat. Another question: How many miles does he have on the tires? Are the tires broken in yet? Had a similar feeling on a bike with new tires, that it wanted to slide a little in a turn. As soon as I put some miles on the bike it was fine...

Had an O2 Ultra, and it didn't seem as sensitive when it came to lower speeds on rolling pavement.

The new bike tho is MILES ahead of the old one when it comes to stability at speed.

I have an '09 Ultra with the OE tires; I keep 40lbs in the rear and 36lbs pressure in the front and ~28lbs in the shocks and have never experienced this problem either in high speed twisties or slow manuevering figure eights.

Thank you all for your thoughts. He only has 1400 miles on it. He's pretty sure it's not the pavement, no big or small ruts in the road when it's happened. He does keep 40lbs. of air in the rear tire. He took it back to the dealer yesterday and hasn't heard anything from them yet. The other 2 times he had it in, they said the only thing they found was the shock bolts were'nt as tight as they should have been, but it has done it again since they tightened them. It mostly seems to do it going straight, not on curves. The last time it pushed him left of center and wobbled till he got it stoped. Not sure what the dealer is going to do now. Thanks again for all your suggestions.
