problem with 2005 sunfire aftermart stereo install?

OK i bought a aftermart stereo from walmart a Dual XHD7714 In-Dash Receiver. i wired it all up using blue butt connoctors and i first wired it with a wiring harness and i reconnected the battery and turned the key and the headunit doesnt turn on so i then wired it the old shool way and the same thing can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong please i want it to work to play my music. I need HELP! please
