My father in law was in 2 accidents yesterday, both times he rear ended a car. He says that when he went to turn the ac on his RPM's went up and he hit the rear end of a car, then on his way to his insurance company he said his RPM's went up again and he rear ended another car. This time the cops towed his explorer and told him not to drive until he has it fixed. He said that his foot wasn't on the gas pedal when both of these accidents happened. I want to believe him, but im not sure I can. We live 1800 miles from him so we cant go check on him. Im just wondering what would cause this to happen, and is it possible or is it a better chance his driving skills are just going, he drives a 2000 Ford Explorer that he bought 6 months ago
Did I call him a liar? No I said is it a better chance his driving skills are going.
My father in law has alot of medical problems and I dont think he should be driving, but its not for me to say. I am just trying to make sure what happened is truly because of something faulty in the explorer and not something my father in law did.
