No matter what, the carburetor "gums up" regularly. No amount of running it dry or using Sta-bil has helped at all. We have replaced the fuel filter and tried different gas.
Each time it is the same story. It starts with no effort at all and then stops. Start, stop etc.
The cure has been to remove the carb. disassemble it, clean the (tiny) hole where the fuel feeds from the bowl to the "throat" area. (I know there is another term for that, but it escapes me just now) reassemble and Vrrroooom! Good to go, for a few days, maybe 2 weeks. And then it starts again.
We've considered drilling out that passage but surely it would create problems of its own with the fuel/air ratio.
It runs just fine on natural gas.
This has been going on since it first came out of the box.
Any ideas/suggestions?
