I have a '02 Honda CBR 600 F4i. When I turn on the key to the 'on' position from off (ignition cut off switch in the 'run' position), the display screen with the clock, speedometer, etc, completely shuts off for about 2 seconds and then the clock displays again with it displaying 1:00. I know this means that the power cuts out completely for a moment, causing the clock to reset. More to the point, the bike will not crank or start or anything when I push the start button after the display resets. Not even a whistle. Note: at this point the display continues to display the clock and does not reset like when I simply turn the key. If you are not familiar with the bike, the clock is supposed to always display unless you remove the main battery. Also I replaced the battery with a new one, so that is not the problem.
