Problem on 1990 TOYOTA CAMRY DX?

I have a 1990 Camry with only 54,000 mi(original mileage and owner) on it. It run like new, air conditioning is colder than a new car and pass inspection every time. I really don't want to sell it. It run so good until recently. The car shut off silently while I'm driving. This problem occur once a week to a month. It will starts again after a minute or so. I did change the gas filter already. That is not helping. The distributor with wire which I replace 2 years ago. Anyone could help me out? Thank you, Steve in New Jersey
