My in-dash JVC KD-S680 car stereo/cd player has been working fine since I bought it back in 2003 until about a week ago when all of the sudden it wont read any cds. burnt or pre-recorded. When I insert a cd, the front panel just reads "CD" and then "PLAY- -" then immediately goes back to the radio. I've also tried playing brand new cds, but I still get the same response from the player. Has the stereo finally died after 7 and a half years of service (old age), or is there a solution to this problem?
