I'm trying to connect my laptop to TV by using VGA male to male cable (i guess this is how it's called, both ends are square with lots of needle like things) my laptop screen is broken so first i just connected the cable and it just poped up on TV screen with no problem. but after a couple of times it stopped showing all the sudden. when i connect the cable and tune on the both laptop and tv it says "adjusting please wait" and after that it goes "no signal" so i gave up once thinking there must be problems with either the tv or laptop. about two weeks ago i bought a new TV and i tried it again with the same laptop and cable and it worked. but after awhile the same thing. it stopped working all the sudden like tv gets immuned after a couple of time. what could be the problem?!
I figured it out by searching previous answers.
for ppl who have same problem. these are steps you should take
1.boost your laptop
2.press fn and F4 at the same time untill you hear a beep
3.press enter
4.wait about 30sec and it should show on your tv screen!!!
