Problem after update 3G 3.1.2 to 4.0

After update iPhone 3G 3.1.2 to 4.0 it's working very slow.
Before OS 3.1.2 it was fully okay, but now(4.0) it's very very slow.
Now what to do ?

try to select install cydia only and jailbreak

Or you can downgrade back to 3.1.3 using this method:

Then you can use Spirit to Jailbreak and unlock ur Iphone.

Works for 3G.
