problem about restore 3.1.2 to 4.0 iphone 3g

when i restore using shift button to 3.1.2 to 4.0 with itunes
its show error plz tell me how can i restore this
iphone 3g 16gb
 
Put in Recovery (not DFU), and flash. Let the internet connection be on to check with Apple server...
 
yes it is easy to way to upgrade first you did make dfu then you did upgrade via itunes
 
br i also take it in dfu mode..then restore with iPhone1,2_4.0_8A293_Restore
and its show error
i think apple released 4.0.1 version released
but i restore with 4.0 tell me how can i restore it to 4.0
 
there is nothing special about the 3G phone u r talking what ever u want u can use it coz there is no ECID saved on apple server for these phones

so search a little but about DFU and Recovery mode if u still get errors then check hardware fault else again put some 3.1.3 again in set and use it

iphone working well with sim 3.1.2
but not sync with itunes to media
its show info n/a
so i restore with 4.0
but tunes server only restore passed 4.0.1
tell me the trick to 3.1.2 to 4.0 not 4.0.1 (which is passed by itunes now)

now way of turning back...you can't even restore to original version..

only the latest from Apple server like 4.0.1..
 
brother check firmware., if it's not good., u got the error., and what error ? post the error.,
 
Yes very much, 4.01 is possible to JB and Unlock using latest Redsnow and Ultrasnow 0.93 ... but you need to Search .. best of luck
 
yeah.. if you have a version 3.1.2 3G or 3Gs that you want to upgrade to iOS4 the itune will give you a error 3194 like before..

guys you notice before we fight the error like we have a 3.1.2 and we want to upgrade the iphone to 3.1.3 but the itunes is recomended the iphone to restore it to iOS4 then if you use to the iphone 3.1.2 to upgrade it to 3.1.3 the itunes will give the error 3194...

i have the same problem also last day i upgrade the iPhone 3G 3.1.3 to iOS4 its take easy to restore then after that the iOS4.0.1 released and my itunes 9.2 recommend the iPhone to Restore to version iOS4.01 i cannot upgrade it again the iPhone 3.1.3 to iOS4..

the perfect way is to wait again for hacking the itune server or upgrade your iPhone to 4.0.1 for 3G only or 3Gs old bootroom...
