...assigned to the same office...? The computer science department has 6 graduate assistants who are assigned to the same office. If any assistant is twice as likely to study at home as in this office, which can get noisy, then how many desks should be put in the office so that everyone who shows up can be seated on at least:
a) 95% of the schooldays?
b) 70% of the schooldays?
