A group of 25 people,a person tells a rumour to a second person who in turn tells it to a third and so on.Each person tells the rumour to just one of the people chosen at random excluding the person who told them.
The rumour is told 10 times.
What is the probability that the rumour will not be repeated to any one person once more?
What is the probability that the rumour will not return to the originator?
Now the first part I have done the answer being 0.1646.
The second part has me stumped .I keep getting 0.70074 where the book answer is 0.6703.Would someone confirm that the book answer is correct?
Thank you .
