I'm trying Proactiv right now. I'm only on day three so I can't say a lot about it. The only drag is that it's a chore to put three things to my face, chest, shoulders, and back. I don't know how long the kit will last since I use it everywhere. I take a nice long shower in the morning and do the cleansing and then when I get out I put on the toner and the repairing lotion; same thing at night. I hope it starts to work soon, I have family coming in this weekend.....all w/ perfect skin of course!
~~~Good luck w/ Proactiv....I'll try to post my progress with it. I think it's hit or miss.
It has been like a god-send for me. I gave a box to my friend so she could try it, but I forgot that I needed that for like the next month so when the next month came around I was totally without it and broke out like crazy..I was so upset..And I had to wait until the next box finally came which was yesterday and I put it on my face last night, and woke up this morning and noticed a big difference. I also just put it on my face this morning, then put on my makeup for the day. So when I took a shower tonight and got out my face looked sooo much better. I'm so glad I got it back :-)
I would say definitely try it.
is proactive only sold online? or is it sold in any grocery market or some rite aid or stuff like dat
I had great results with Proactive, but it is really expensive for the amount of product you get!
You could try doing a keyword search on this site (upper right side of screen) to find all the threaRAB on Proactive -- there's been a lot! :) Good luck!
I started using proactive around Christmas time(my first time). it seemed like it was working. then i got lazy and stopped for a while then when i started back up i got like red spots all over my face and some were like bubbles kind of. but when i first started it I didn't have these red spots.
And im starting back up this weekend and I hope my skin gets use to it.
But does anyone know why this might have happened?
I wouldnt use an exfoliant more than once daily..unless its Proactiv. Most over the counter exfoliants are pretty gritty and can really tear your face off if used excessively. Most can be used once daily, but some like the Apricot scrubs should be used once every 4 or 5 days.
I wouldn't use those apricot scrubs AT ALL! :eek: Same for scrubs that contain walnut shells, or any other types of shells! They have sharp edges that can create microscopic cuts in your skin, which allow bacteria to enter, which leaRAB to...Zit City!! :eek: :mad:
durn... alright then
acne products i have:
md forte facial cleanser and the lotion
neutrogena oil-free acne wash
neutrogena clear pore
st. lives apricot scrub
