Pro-lifers: Are you ever slightly irked by the media referring to us as

"anti-abortionists"? I'm a big positive thinker, even the simplest sense, and really don't like an 'anti' anything.

Mother Teresa said, “I will never attend an anti-war rally; if you have a peace rally, invite me.”
I usually refer to people who are pro-choice as pro-choice, since that's what they want to be called. But there are those who ARE pro-abortion.
Again, I will call people what they wish to be called, which usually means pro-choice, no matter how much I disagree with the term.
There are choices besides abortion: adoption, keeping the baby. There are literally thousands of infertile women/couples who would take a would-be aborted baby in and raise it as their own.
How on earth can I be anti-women? That makes absolutely no sense. If I was anti-women, I would have gotten a sex change by now. I might as well call you anti-babies.
It's more the intention and, as one of you said, derision behind the term than the actual term itself.
I guess it's because being in favor of the chance of life for innocent babies isn't "fashionable" or what everyone else is doing. It's very noticeable.
With all due respect, if the other life in the situation does not get a say as to whether it lives or dies, then it is appropriate for someone to step in.
No, Donuts, I firmly mean babies. I mean, this won't have much effect on you, but a newborn and an unborn are both referred to as babies in the Bible. I consider anything that has a heart and nerves living.

People call me pro-death.
Edit: There is nobody in this world who is pro-abortion, or maybe one very screwed up person. Pro-abortion would insinuate that ALL babies should be aborted. This person, if in existance, is probably in a mental hospital.

Well, I'm not reall all that pro-life as I support capital punishment in the case of Atheists and Satanists.

You can deny it until the end of time, I know that you are anti-choice.

You will never be allowed to remove my choices.

Yes, there are the choices to give it up for adoption, have the baby, or the choice to terminate the pregnancy. All are personal choices that must be protected.

I am against having an abortion past the first trimester, but I would never force that opinion into the law because there are exceptions, like threatening the life of the mother or a horribly malformed baby.

It is quite evident that most anti-choicers could not care less about the baby outside of the womb, because if they did, all children would have health care.

"It is the parents responsibility to care for their children. Not the governments to steal money from others to do what the parents are supposed to do." - another example of Christian love

*The only life that has a say regarding a pregnancy is the woman with the impregnated womb. End of story!*
