I flashed a samsung phone to cricket before using OTA I called cricket gave the esn to the phone then ota it. My question is does that update the full PRL for roaming using OTA? Or do i need to flash it?Also i have another verizon samsung a870, could any one get the pix messageing and mobile web working if it was flahed to cricket?

just use a samsung siren monster is its out there its the same as the a870

If it said it programmed successfully I would say yes. You can also check the phone info from one of the menus to see what prl it has on it now.

The prl is 1040 so will i have the same roaming as a branded cricket phone? and does any one have a siren monster flash or can flash a a870 with a siren monster?

when i ota flashed my phone from verizon to cricket it put in a non roaming prl 1040. If i ota the phone will it put a roaming prl in, or is there another way i can do it? I really need roaming to work on this phone!!!!!

if ota is working on the phone, and you have roaming on the account, ota *SHOULD* give you a roaming prl.

Thanks! so i will try to OTA the phone again. Will ota work on newer verizon phones like a samsung a870? or will i have to monster flash it? Because i cant find a siren monster flash, any ideas?
