Pristiq vs Celexa for anxiety

My general practitioner wants to change my anxiety medication from Celexa 20 mg to Pristiq? Isn't Pristiq more for depression than increased anxiety?
 
I actually have very bad anxiety and Pristiq has been a God-send. I initially started on 50mg but I cut the pill in half. Otherwise, I'm too sleepy and a bit nauseous. I also have a minor side effect, I scratch my head a lot. Literally. Medicated shampoo and it's starting to settle down.
