I remember watching the re runs in the 90s at around 1am each night lol

I was gripped a great show

I loved Myra as top dog, wasn't she stabbed?
 
I would love to see it repeated, but think it's extremely unlikely as it has a cult following, and would not appeal to a big enough of an audience to make it commercially viable.

Unless a smaller digital channel such as Fiver could pick up the right for a small amount, I think the programme has gone forever. Apparently, the next set of rights include more royalties for the actors which makes it too expensive.
 
Channel 5 did show every episode from the first day it was on air.

It was mostly on at 4:40am each morning, but they moved it to around 11pm. ITV complained as it clashed with their showing in some regions where they hadn't finished showing the series. So 5 moved it back to 4:40am.
