I got some mugs as Christmas gifts adorned with my own photographs from Smugmug and Bay Photo. I am amazed still by the quality of that sort of thing but still don't understand how its done. Whether on mugs or plates or tiles how is the image transferred and then laid down with not a hint of raised area. Would appreciate any opinions on this by someone in the know.
