Really cannot wait to see this.

Good cast and what seems like a good movie.

Anyone else planning on seeing this movie- from the creators of Pirates of the Carribbean. :)

I've have played the video games!

I think the lead has been miscast for obvious reason's. There is also apart of me that feels this film is higly dependent on its visual effect's which look stunning, rather than the story.

But i will still watch it.

I like Gemma Arteton, so will be going to see it anyway.

Will see Robin Hood first though.

Robin Hood is a success so far, so hoping Prince of Persia isnt a flop since Clash of The Titans hasnt done too well so far.

^I'm in two minRAB to see it and the mixed reviews aren't helping.

There's hope in Burbank that this will be a franchise - not so sure that will happen.

I remember playing the game in the 90's.

I'd only go and see the film because Jake Gyllenhaal is in it and quite easy on the eye. Anything else I get from the movie will be a bonus :p

(Me? Shallow?)

I was kind of hoping that it would be like this :p

re Gemma A, I thought she was much better in clash of the titans, she was probably the only good thing about the film for me. I think she wasn't as good in this film but she did have some good moments and I think she played the part where she fell at the end very well. Very emotional and believable.

On reflection the film was probably a bit better than I initially thought it was considering it was based on a computer game and those kind of movies are not usually all that. So for what it was it was pretty good. I did prefer Robin Hood though although I think I might be in the minority with that.

Robin Hood hasn't even opened yet, so I'm not quite sure how that qualifies as a success unless you can see into the future (many predict a flop, btw).

Titans has done well so far - $454m worldwide. Sequel more than likely.

I think as a film overall Robin Hood is the better film as it didn't rely on CGI to the point that the actors became almost irrelevant at times. But this film has more of an blockbuster/event feel about it.

it looks absolute pants - but because i have a Unlimited Card - i will watch it. i fancy a non-brainer to munch popcorn and slurp coke too.

saying that - every VideoGame movie ever made has been terrible and dont seem to do well. i am surprise they still bother.

i seem to remember seeing an alternate trailer for this last year...with a different lead. am i talking out my arse? or was this movie partly made with different actors and then later recast?

saw it the other day. wasnt expecting much - but it was alright and better then i thought. every video game movie i have seen has been rubbish - but this was one of the better ones.

i doubt very much there will be a sequal. its not going to score anything near the POTC movies box office wise, and thats what Buckheimer productions need for their sequals.

something I will never watch again.

5/10

Not a very good film. I'd say 5/10. The premise was promising but it was treated too much like a video game at the cost of the script and acting. Worse for me though was the general 'style' of the film. It has to be one of the most badly edited films I've seen for a long time... very clunky and workmanlike and felt like a rush job.

Robin hood opened on Wednesday. I saw it on Thuesday. I gave it 5/10.

As ar as this film I'm getting to the point of not caring. I've seen the trailer too many times and am getting bored by it.

If nothing else this film proves that we're having a dire summer of blockbusters! It's better than average, but sadly nothing special. It also underuses the games rewind time mechanic too, which was disappointing. Gemma Arterton appears to be unable to be anyone but her self on screen on this evidence and her performance in Titans.
Jake appears a little awkward as the action hero; it may take him a bit of time to settle into it. Alfred Molina, as ever, is worth watching though.
