Prince Charles complaining about climate change, isn't that like Bono preaching

about poverty? Prince Charles, he's had more Aston Martins, private jet flights, and range rovers than 99.9% of the population, and I'm pretty sure none of his residencys are ever left cold and unlit. Now he's complaining about climate change, and how we must do something about it! Surely this is akin to Bono preaching about poverty. Do they not realise that it's their actions at the top that cause more impact than those at the bottom. Prince Charles' carbon footprint is probably bigger than his ears, MASSIVE, probably 100 times the size of a normal mans (as IS his carbon footprint). Bono could give 99% of his wealth away and still be a millionaire, but he's happy to whinge about poverty. It's excessive greed higher up the food chain that causes it. I'm happy with it, I am high enough up the foodchain to not complain, I have wonderful holidays, a lot of income and nice cars, so I think it would be hypocrytical of me to whinge about poverty, and I'm probably 400 times less wealthy than Bono

So should prince charles put a sock in it and start addressing his own contribution to climate change before preaching to others?
 
Digger, you provided no links and don't seem particularly aware of how strongly Prince Charles advocates for environmental issues.

A quote prominently featured on his website, a section of which is linked below: "If we lose the battle against tropical deforestation, we lose the battle against climate change."

So I think Charles can keep his socks where they belong, and he should keep up the good work he's been doing for years. I'd rather have a few Bonos and Charles than all the pols and stars who drench themselves in excess and don't lift a finger to help the world around them. And how, BTW, do you contribute to helping your fellow man? This seems relevant since you're casting disparaging marks elsewhere.
 
Prince Charles obviously doesn't understand that there is no peer review data that supports so called man made global warming or do the ecoterrorists call it climate change now?
