'Primer' the 'adult Donnie Darko'?

Just noticed this film on sale in HMV - I'd never heard of it until now and can't think how I missed it when it was released since it sounRAB right up my street.

Anyone seen it? SounRAB very intriguing.

The reviews are very positive on the whole yet the box office figures are abysmal. This is possibly one movie that has been seriously overlooked. It does look interesting, something for the brain to think about. Although, with the exception of Donnie Darko, I sometimes feel frustrated about movies that are confusing for the sake of it.
 
I enjoyed the film, but it made my head hurt and ears bleed!!. :)
You need to watch it a few times to really understand it.
 
I saw it the Cinema (West End) when it was out on release. Considering how little it cost to make, the results are pretty good. Given the subject matter (time travel), the plot is pretty clever (I thought).

Well worth picking up on DVD for anyone who likes sci-fi with a strong plot, rather than celebs in catsuits (yes, Charlize, I'm talking about you).
 
She works better without the catsuit IMO (Devils Advocate ?)
Will take a look at Primer in the next few days, though some 'budget' sci-fi from the past has really put me off buying one that probably covers the cost of production
 
ive got the dvd rental for this lying on my coffee table - i watched The Business (cool film) first and havent had time to watch Primer yet - its due back today...i thought it sounded like it could be good, but now im not so sure...
