Pretty Woman on AGAIN!

I know! Double Jeopardy is another that ITV love, it was on all week ITV2 not long ago now its on ITV1 tomorrow?... :D
Ah well I won't be watching Pretty Woman tonight... I have it on DVD :D
 
I know it feels like it's on once a week but I love that film, especially the bit when she goes back to the bitchy ladies in the boutique and tells them what's what!
 
ITV seem to have a few films that they repeat ad nauseum - that's not great obviously, but they are good films! I remember a few months back Terminator 2 seemed to be on practically every night - and I'd ALWAYS miss the beginning so still never got to see it in its entirety again.
 
Ah yes, Terminator 2. It still seems to be shown on the Sci-Fi channel at least once a month. Great film though.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but Mrs Doubtfire must surely hold the record for the most airings on the Sky movie channels. It seems to be every day during certain perioRAB of the year.
 
You see the same films on TV constantly these days. Not just ITV. Although they do seem to be one of the worst offenders for repeating thing to death. I'll never forget when they showed the movie Ice Age two Saturday's in a row. What the hell was that about?!

They're showing the Harry Potter films far too much as well but I suspect it's because, like Pretty Woman, movies like the HP films will always draw in viewers. Still, we're in desperate need of a better variety of movies when it comes to what films you get on UK tv. It just seems to be the same select few on loop at the moment and has been like that for some years now. It's rather disgraceful.

Pretty Woman is the kind of film that even though I have it on DVD, I'll always watch it when I see it on tv.

But if I fancy watching a film I'm not gonna pick it :p in fact I don't think I've watched the DVD.
