I found the flub in this movie funny - when she is eating breakfast she is eating a pancake then a croissant than a pancake again.

But this movie was so great, one of my favorites.

I love the part where he takes her shopping. This is such a classic movie! i love it!!!

This is one of my favorite movies ever. I grew up watching this movie even though back then my parents made me shut my eyes on some parts  Pretty Woman is a classic and has a very good soundtrack.

I love this movie, but as everyone has said, the last line is just cringe-worthy. That's really interesting that there was originally a different (and probably better, because it couldn't be any worse) than the one in the film. Stupid stubborn studios. :pout: Although, it's not like the whole ending is bad. I loved it until the very last line. It's sad.

 It's awful - I can hear it in my head. It's not just the line but the way it's delivered, too. I put it in the "Cheesiest Movie Lines" thread.

ImmortallyUsed - yes, that's a wonderful moment! Love it!

i absolutely love this movie too - yeh im not overly fond of the fact she is a hooker but i love it how he sees her inner beauty

and love it even more when she goes back to the store that would sell her anything

BIG MISTAKE - MASSIVE - HUGE!!!

 That would be a good idea. I dont remember that line so I guess thats a good thing.

This movie is just... unique  :) I totally love it, I've watched it so many times, I don't even know how often! I didn't mind the ending but I didn't even know that it was supposed to be different!

Good question - I don't know since I've never seen it on DVD.

There are quite a few extra scenes that didn't make it into the final version but are included in a director's cut.

He doesn't come after her. The writer of the film totally didn't want to give up his ending, but the studio insisted...hence the lame line.

Really bugs me, too, because I'd feel so much better about the ending if it didn't have that idiotic line! And I love this film! I just have to turn it off once he climbs the fire escape.

It's a darling little movie with the exception of the ending - I wish they'd stuck with the original, as awful as that would have been.

OR - they could have kept the ending as a happy one, but written a hell of a lot better dialogue. It's clearly been slapped together, and there are few movie lines I hate more than, "She saved him right back." UCH.
