Mediocre Presidents generate a crisis like The financial meltdown, Iraq and Iran/Contra.
And especially 9/11. When you treat people around the world like crap they tend to respond by making bad sometimes catastrophic decisions.
Civil War- Southern Amercans felt they were being treated as 2nd class Americans.
Pearl Harbour- The Japanese felt they were being held back by American colonialism.
Jews killed at the Olympics because the Palistinians lost hope for any chance of a better life for their people.
North Korea and Iran building a nuclear weapon and acting out because they felt they were being ignored by the rest of the world.
Pakistan and India both setting off nuclear weapons while America completely ignored them until it was too late.
Most countries that seem dangerous just want to be respected.
America took a dump on Iran for 50 years and now we have this dumb look on our faces like we can't understand why Iran is acting so irrational.
When you see a country Iran, Iraq, North Korea acting in a dangerous or irrational way don't just accept what you here on the news. Investigate, dig into the history of the country and you will usually find that they were treated very badly by the United States. That is not an excuse for terrorism but if we change our behavior just a little bit, it could make a huge difference in how the rest of the word responds to us.
