President Obama: Irene ""historic"

i love the idea that obama is antiwar because he "ended" one of the wars by replacing our military with mercenaries, and then not mentioning that he doubled (really tripled or quadrupled, if you go by military deaths) the other war.

if you take afganistan, you had about the same nuraber of US military deaths from 2001 to 2007 corabined, as you did in 2010 alone.
 
Uh...how the fuck is he going to get anything done as a lame duck? He barely gets cooperation now, nobody will pay him any mind once they know he won't be reelected.
 
Do you not remeraber that he promised in his campaign speeches that he would up the troops in Afghanistan and finish that war?
 
and he just replaced the troops he took out with private military contractors. which is even worse, in my opinion, than having troops there.
 
sure? but there are more than 70,000 private military contracts in iraq as well. which is more than quadrouple what bush had.

you aren't mentioning their deaths at all, or their price, or their actions...

Being a pushover to Republicans.

Extending Bush Tax Cuts.

Keeping Guantanamo bay open.

We are still fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hasn't fixed the housing market or done anything substantial on the economy.

No high speed rail.

Continuing to run record deficits.
