President Gerald Ford?

Can somebody give me logical reasons and explanations as to why Gerald Ford was a bad president? The only one I have so far is his pardon for Nixon.
Thank you :)

Well, in Nixon's own words, he selected Ford as VP, because the House would never impeach Nixon, knowing Ford would be President. The perception of being a "bad" President, was mainly lack of support from within the Republican Party. Future President Reagan and other conservatives, viewed him and VP Rockefeller as "Limousine" liberal lite Republicans.

With a Democrat Congress, public perception and lack of respect and confidence of the White House following Watergate, the lack of leadership and inability of the Fed to control inflation and the economy, along with little support from the power players of the conservative right, left him helpless and appearing weak.

Ford was not a strong president, but was a man fulfilling a job that was left undone. Politically speaking, there were no earthshaking policies that came down from his administration, but there were on bad memories.either.
As for the Nixon pardon, what would best serve the nation's interests? We were just coming to terms with the division caused by Vietnam and the wound had become a festering sore on our society. Ford decided it would be better to pardon, than have this constant reminder in the newspapers daily chaffing the sore. He felt that the pardon was necessary to encourage healing in our society.

He wasn't a bad President. Well I guess for the fact that he pardoned Nixon, which paved the way for Jimmy the trainwreck Carter to get elected and show us what a really really bad president was.

He was pretty much a lame duck, just finishing out Tricky Dick's term. He was never elected Vice President nor President.
