Prequel to 'The Ring' coming in 2006!!

I know what is currently being planned in regarRAB to this prequel. It is not only "99%" focused on the character of Samara but she is for "99%" of the movie exactly the same age as when she finally meets her death, "you will not be seeing any Kelly Stables/Evil-Samara, Rachel or Aidan in this movie", Samara is purely her "human" self in this prequel story.

I also think it will be a big improvement over the AWFUL sequel "The Ring Two". :cool:
 
Hmm... I liked the ring but i didnt see the ring two because of the awful reviews.


i rekon they did this because naomi realised how wasted she was in the film..
 
I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what they come up with too!
I can understand why some people may not have enjoyed Ring 0. It's tone is radically different to the other Ring movies. Despite this I felt that it was an intersting, nerve shaking yet heartbreaking movie (strange combination I know!). It works better however, if you see it as a stand-alone movie, rather than part of a trilogy.
I would definately reccommend it.
 
I preferd Ring 0 over Ring 2 (jap)...I know it didnt involve as much horror but was a great story. Since I have read the novel and "birthday" which is the manga that includes a short story called "lemon heart" which goes in to more depth on Sadakos time with the theater troup.

If you want the best ring story - go buy the book!
