I'm looking to buy a new cell phone in the next 4 months or so. I haven't been paying attention to the newest trends, so I don't know what a cell phone should cost or what features it should have.
At a minimum, I want a cell phone that is durable, not too expensive and has a good menu system. I don't care about fancy design or hype, and I don't require it to be particularly small or lightweight.
Wanted features that I can think of:
- Personal organizer that is synchronizable to PC (bluetooth or infrared)
- As such, bluetooth and/or infrared connection, as well as modem functionallity in a pinch
- A camera (not essential). For those priceless moments. If I want to take good pictures, I'll probably use a dedicated camera instead.
- A good contact list system.
This list may be incomplete, as I don't know what can be expected from a modern phone.
If anyone has suggestions regarding these concerns, I'd be grateful.
