I'm due in court on Monday morning as the father of my baby (who is now 14 months old and hasnt been seen by the father for a year, his choice) is making a contact order. My soliticor applied for my legal aid certificate, but they refused me aid because they say I have no dispute???? ( Now my solicitor has appealed the decision because of course there are disputes, but wont get a reply until Monday morning and she wont be able to attend unless this comes through or I pay her a big sum that I cant afford?.... Would anyone know where I stand now? can I go to court without my solicitor? what can I do?
