I am a young married woman, and have been experiencing some of the most severe mood swings. The past few days I have been angered or irritated extremely easy. My husband bought a new phone that I wanted and I had what verged on a psycologic breakdown. I screamed, yelled, threw things, cried uncontrollably, even threatened to kill my pet rabbit. The past few days I go from happy and content to fuming over the smallest of things. Or I can go from happy and content to crying my eyes out, last night I cried for 3 hours straight for no good reason.
Usually I would attribute this to sever PMS, but my period just ended a few days ago. My husband and I have had unprotected sex before and since my period. I am on birth control, but honestly do not take it at the same time every day (usually a 4-5hr varience). I am also on a perscription weight loss medication (phentermine) and do not know if it can affect the effectivness of Yaz. I would be thrilled if I was pregnant, albeit a little annoyed I won't have as much free time, but overall thrilled.
Has anybody had such severe mood swings like this and been pregnant, or does it seem possible? or should I investigate into some other cause? Thank you.
