Hi I am 21 weeks pregnant. My boyfriend has been paying for all my Dr. visits because he said he would because I am not working. I was laid off. Anyway I told him that I would go half with him on this Dr. visit. Every month it is $130 because my insurance (blue cross) pays 60% and I have to pay 40%. My Dr. does not take Medi Cal, I already signed a contract with my Dr. before I was laid off, so I can not switch Dr's (which I don't want to anyway because I like my Dr). So last week my boyfriend borrowed $25 and then this weekend he borrowed $55. He told me that he would give it back to me the next time he gets paid, which is this Friday. He always pays me back when he borrows money which is not very frequent. I told him today that I am not going to go half with him on the Dr. this Friday. He said why and I said because I already gave you $80. So now he is all upset. He is now saying that he has other bills to pay and can't afford the whole $130. Then he tried to make me feel bad by saying well I guess I won't pay my bills, I will just be behind and I will pay the Dr. for this month. I mean is this fair to you? I let him borrow $80 and he still expects me to go half with him for the Dr. visit? He told me he would pay me back this Friday and when I reminded him that he said that he said oh I meant to say the next time I get paid not this time. If I would have known that I would not have let him borrow the money. He thinks that he is not in the wrong here. Please help!!
