Pregnancy.. Too early for a test, but not for symptoms?

My husband and I have been trying for a baby, and I think we may have succeeded, but it could just all be in my head. It's about 2 weeks too early for any kind of test, but only a week after that particular sex, I've been feeling nauseated, I get hungry about eight or more times a day, and my breasts are so tender they hurt to the touch. Also, when we have sex now, I have minor pains in my right side just about directly where my ovary is.
I have a suspicion that we may have conceived, and I wouldn't be asking on here if it weren't too early for an at home test. My question is this. Can a woman have symptoms of pregnancy as early as a week after having sex? And, if so, what would they be? I've tried google. but get so many diverse answers it's hard to tell. Anyone with experience in this would be great.

Thanks :D
