I think i may have gotten pregnant 1 week and 5 days ago because the condom broke and he came in me and i was meant to get my period about 5 days ago and it hasn't come.
I was wondering how long i have to wait before taking the pregnancy test.
if you have missed your period then you can test now but it could be caused by anything, test soon and if your period does not come within 7days then test again if its still neg then contact your doctor.
I would wait about another week. Most tests require you wait at least two to 3 weeks after last unprotected sex.
Make sure you take the test with your first urination of the morning as that is when the pregnancy hormone HCG will be highest and the test is more likely to be accurate. I also recommend taking a digital test as the line or +/- tests can get confusing if HCG levels are low.
